Great place to stay. The history, the elegance, and the atmosphere is awesome. However you have to watch the employees in the shops. They will take your payment and then look up your room number and charge you again. Then when you discuss it with management they will just waste your time before refunding your money. It is such a shame because this would have been a 5 Star rating if it weren't for the way management handled things.

The Peabody... What more needs to be said? When it comes to luxury hotels, The Peabody is right there at the top of what to expect. We went for our 20th anniversary and could not have had a better experience. The room was spacious and luxurious. The Peabody Club on 12 offered drinks and snacks and you can't go wrong with the happy hour between 5-7pm each night. We missed the ducks but have seen them before and cannot recommend them enough. At the end of the day, whether from Memphis or somewhere further out, The Peabody is definitely the place to stay.

We typically stay in the Westin for business and Grizzlies games and eat, shop and use the spa at the Peabody and have never had a complaint . This past week we came in for the BBQ weekend and decided to stay a night at the Peabody. We absolutely LOVE Memphis and the gorgeous Peabody Hotel. My complaint is with the staff in the lobby bar area. These girls all look miserable, overwhelmed and need training in customer service 101. Poor Summer couldn’t keep it together and was just beyond frazzled. I forget the three other servers names but, none were trained in fine dining or southern hospitality. I don’t blame the girls I blame the manager for allowing this. This isn’t a 1 or 2 star hotel. I expect more from the most beautiful place in Memphis. You need to retrain these four girls working the lobby bar Friday night May 17 ASAP. I love visiting Memphis and the Peabody but we need smiles and proper greetings when ordering dessert and drinks.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago on business. My king size suite was well maintained, modern and immaculate. Breakfast buffet was pretty cut rate for such a swanky venue. Corner bar service was excellent, the front desk not so much. They totally botched my checkout and I am still currently short $36 on my refund. The ducks are quite a big deal here and the crowd in the lobby to watch the duck march is testament to that. Overall my room was a solid 4 star.

Incredible Hotel! It is so full of History! The Spa was Amazing! The Shopping was Unique and Left ya Wanting to Go Back for More! Presentation of the Ducks is Something Everyone should See at least Once in their lives! Impeccable Service! We Loved It ❤️
